Sweet Pickled Peaches
Ingredients:
 4kg small peaches
Whole cloves
4 cups brown sugar
2 cups vinegar
1 cinnamon stick
Steps 1 Boil the sugar, vinegar and a cinnamon stick, slowly
for about 20 minutes.
2. Peel the peaches by plunging first into boiling water and then into
cold, when the skins should slip off easily. Stud each peach with a
clove.
3. Cook the peaches in the syrup till just tender.
4. Pack the peaches into hot, sterilized jars with a piece cinnamon
stick in each jar.
5 Strain the syrup and fill the jars to overflowing.
6 Seal at once.
