Grape Leaves in Brine
Ingredients:
 Fresh, unblemished grape feaves
1/2 cup of salt per 10 cups water
Steps 1 Wash the leaves and stack them in piles of 30.
2 Fold the stacks in half and tie them securety with string.
3 Bring the water to the boil and dissolve the salt.
4 Dip the bundles of leaves into the brine and remove them at once.
5 Pack them in sterilized jars, adding a little brine to each jar.
6 Seal the jars. Do not use the leaves for at least a week. They will
keep well for months.
